The year’s biggest sports story just keeps getting weirder. Embattled FIFA president Sepp Blatter may not step down after all.
Swiss newspaper Schweiz am Sonntag is reporting that Blatter may not step down in the coming months as he announced June 2. Rumors began circulating that Blatter would pull something like this in the days after that announcement:

The paper claims that Blatter “had received messages of support from African and Asian football associations.”
This latest development comes despite reports that the U.S. Department of Justice may be closing in on linking Blatter to $10 million in bribes connected with the 2010 World Cup in South Africa.
