By Kevin Allen@kevin_j_allenMay 17, 2011 SHARE Mansbach wrote on his Facebook wall last June: “Look out for my forthcoming children’s book, Go the F**k to Sleep.” He was joking at the time, but eventually penned the book and sold a publisher on the idea. Now the book is No. 2 on Amazon’s bestsellers list. Originally, it was scheduled to hit bookshelves in October, but the release date was pushed forward to June. The buzz can be attributed to a leaked PDF of the 32-page book, which has also been optioned by Fox 2000 as a movie. Meanwhile, The New York Times featured the story a couple weeks ago.
