Brands offered free stuff, puns on Tax Day

Several companies tweeted deals and self-promotional posts under Wednesday’s #TaxDay trend on Twitter.

No brand went more all-out than Pizza Hut, which launched its National Pizza Return campaign. Instead of a W-2 form, users are asked to fill out a P-2 form, which will enter you in a contest for a gift card to use at the restaurant.

Other brands offered deals for Tax Day: Bonefish Grill gave diners $10 off their meals, Red Bull delivered wings at work to New York employees who tweeted to the brand’s Twitter account with #WingsAtWork, Sonic announced its cheeseburgers were half off and Hard Rock Cafe gave free burgers to those who sang a song:
