Meet Gene Morphis, the former CFO for fashion retailer Francesca’s Holdings Corp. According to a report in The Wall Street Journal, he was fired for venting his frustrations on his public Facebook and Twitter pages.

• Mar. 6 on Twitter: “Dinner w/Board tonite. Used to be fun. Now one must be on guard every second.”
• Mar. 13 on Facebook: “Earnings released. Conference call completed. How do you like me now Mr. Shorty?”
