Changes to AP’s social media policy irk some reporters

Last week, the Associated Press updated its employee guidelines to include more stringent rules about social media. The move has upset leaders of the News Media Guild, which represents 1,520 AP employees in the U.S. According to Editor & Publisher , the group “complained that one policy requiring Facebook users who are AP employees to delete material posted—by others—that violates AP standards is over-reaching.”
