Children’s Place t-shirt sets off complaints of sexism

The retailer pulls a questionable girls’ top after customers bar the store for the shirt’s underlining, chauvinistic message that math just isn’t one of the gender’s ‘best subjects.’

Well, if little girls start wearing this T-shirt from The Children’s Place, I will certainly have no choice but to join that chorus:

In case you have trouble making out the above image, emblazoned on the front of the T-shirt is a checklist under the heart-laden header “my best subjects,” which includes shopping, music, dancing, and math.

All but math are checked off, and there’s a caveat underneath stating that “nobody’s perfect.”
