Dell apologizes for misogynistic comments at conference
A speaker at a Dell global conference in Copenhagen offered some disturbing remarks about women. The company made it clear the speaker doesn’t reflect Dell’s values.
The company apologized Monday for Mads Christensen’s misogynistic comments while he hosted a panel discussion during a Dell global conference in Copenhagen last month.
Christensen “applauded the tech industry for shutting out women,” according to The Daily Beast. He didn’t stop there, as Danish radio personality Christiane Vejlø recalls in a recent blog post.
“‘We can thank women for the rolling pin,’ he adds. And then the moderator of the day finishes off by asking all (men) in the room to promise him that they will go home and say, ‘Shut up b***h!.'”
