Despite government criticism over its gas guzzlers, Chrysler debuts new SUV at auto show

Call it bad timing—or inept management—but Chrysler debuted a redesigned Jeep Cherokee at the New York auto show just weeks after the government admonished the automaker for focusing too heavily on trucks and SUVs.
