Did GM kill a new car design because Twitter users cried foul?
General Motors’ Buick brand axed plans to release a Saturn Vue-platformed plug-in-hybrid-electric. Why? “We spoke with two unnamed sources at GM, one in design and one in marketing,” wrote Ray Wert at auto blog, Jalopnik . “Both told us the same thing—the Buick crossover was killed after higher-ups read tweets decrying the styling of the plug-in electric platform prostitute of a crossover.” Now that might be a first.
