Did Occupy Wall Street protesters change the conversation?

They were driven out of Zuccotti Park, prompting further media interest and the question as to whether the movement has been effective.

Under the cover of darkness early on Tuesday, New York police cleared Zuccotti Park of the Occupy Wall Street protesters—reminiscent, in a way, of Daley flouting the law and bulldozing a private airport in the middle of the night.

Unlike the airport, protesters on Tuesday morning returned to Zuccotti Park, chanting “F*** you, Bloomberg” as media and police looked on.

Thursday would be the two-month anniversary of the protest movement in New York and, according to the Associated Press, protesters plan to march on Wall Street to mark the occasion.
