Disney teams with Ragan’s Social Media Conference for out-of-this-galaxy experiences

Private experiences in EPCOT  have been added to the all-star conference schedule.

Ragan’s Social Media Conference is already set up to highlight some of the brightest voices in the industry at Disney’s Swan & Dolphin Resorts from Sept. 21-23. But now there’s a little extra pixie dust to top off the practical insights on offer.

After a day filled with inspiration from the likes of Jano Cabrera, chief communications officer for General Mills, and Brian Fanzo, founder and CEO of iSocialFanz, the audience will be given a unique TikTok challenge during a session with Jason Recher, VP of segment content creation and digital integration at Disney Parks and Catherine Halaby, VP of entertainment partnerships at TikTok.

Attendees will have a magical background for completing the challenge with their complimentary ticket to Disney World’s EPCOT Resort. In between testing their short-form video skills, they’ll have plenty of time to stroll, network with new friends, sample from the Food & Wine Festival booths and take a spin on rides like Test Track and Frozen Ever After.

Conference attendees will come back together for an exclusive reception to watch Harmonious, EPCOT’s nighttime spectacular. Then, as other guests stream out of the park for the night, Ragan’s guests will remain behind for private ride time on the brand new “Guardians of the Galaxy: Cosmic Rewind,” followed by a dessert reception with some special guests from the Marvel Universe.
