How’s this for rebranding? The actor, known for playing a stoner goofball early in his career, is now featured in the Times for his business savvy. Among his investments, Skype.

Ashton Kutcher, the 33-year-old model turned actor, is something of an Internet oracle. He’s been an early investor in Skype, Foursquare, Path, and Flipboard.

And let’s not forget his Twitter savvy. In 2009, when most people had either never heard of Twitter or were dismissing it, Kutcher challenged CNN to a contest to see who could reach one million followers first.
