Editorial staffs of Men’s Journal and Rolling Stones to combine?

After layoffs at Wenner Media’s Men’s Journal earlier this month, Portfolio media columnist Jeff Bercovici reported that Wenner Media owner Jann Wenner had suggested merging the staffs of Men’s Journal and Rolling Stone manage. (Just imagine the crossover articles.) Longtime Rolling Stone editor Will Dana, who began overseeing Men’s Journal editorial efforts, told Bercovici there are no plans right now for a Men’s Journal-Rolling Stone editorial merge.
