Fox’s Glenn Beck losing advertisers after calling the president a ‘racist’

Geico, Procter & Gamble, Progressive Insurance, SC Johnson and LexisNexis have all removed their ads from the Fox News Channel program hosted by Glenn Beck after he accused President Obama of being a “racist.” Beck made the accusation on his show July 29. “A Fox rep confirmed that Geico is dropping its ads from the show, but was quick to note that the marketer was shifting its dollars to other programs,” Kenneth Hein wrote for Adweek .
