FTC settles with PR firm for posting fake user reviews
When employees conceal their company affiliations and post fake reviews about products or services, it’s called “astroturfing,” and the Federal Trade Commission is not amused. The FTC has settled a complaint it had lodged against California-based Reverb Communications for allegedly astroturfing about Reverb’s clients’ video games.
