Good careers, bad reputations—like PR

Public relations was among the professions featured in a recent Yahoo Hot Jobs article titled, “Good careers with bad reputations.” In the story, New York City-based PR pro Termeh Mazhari said people assume she’s “incapable of making genuine, no-B.S. statements.” The story also noted that according to the Occupational Outlook Handbook, the number of PR specialists is expected to grow by 18 percent over the next seven years.
