Has Cameron—a former PR man—failed to explain his ‘Big Society’?

A recent study said that 22 percent believe it’s “PR spin.” Do you know what it means?

Officially, “Big Society” is U.K. Prime Minister David Cameron’s proposal, which he unveiled in May 2010, that aims to “create a climate that empowers local people and communities, building a big society that will take power away from politicians and give it to people.” At least that’s how 10 Downing Street describes it.

How does the public view it?

Marketing magazine commissioned a study to find out, and the results are fairly dismissal for Cameron and the Conservative Party in Great Britain. According to the survey of 1,500 people across the U.K.:
