High school football team bursts through misspelled sign

Alabama’s Hoover High Buccaneers didn’t want to be held “responsable” for “ruffled feathers,” but they’ve got some culpability in this misspelling.

As is typical at a high-school football game, the team came bursting through a big breakaway banner as it charged onto the field. Here’s what it said about those pesky Falcons:

“Hoover football cannot be held responsable for ruffled feathers.”

Yahoo Sports reports that the sign was made by the school’s cheerleading squad, which doesn’t do any favors for Alabama or cheerleaders when it comes to dispelling stereotypes about academic prowess.
