Hooters claims Facebook page was hacked after rape joke post
A now-deleted photo posted to the restaurant chain’s page showed a woman pointing to her crotch and had the caption ‘proof she was asking for it.’

Yes, Hooters’ whole business model is to be sexy and playful, but whoever was running the social media over on the site this morning really messed up when they thought that posting a picture that suggests that women ask to be raped would be an appropriate thing to put on the site. Rape isn’t funny. It just isn’t.
A few hours after the photo was posted, and after numerous comments that the joke was inappropriate, Hooters deleted it and posted this response:
