In gay rights stand, OkCupid urges users to ditch Firefox
Users who access the site through Firefox see a message urging them to try an alternative browser. Mozilla CEO Brendan Eich’s opposition to same-sex marriage is at the heart of the matter. (UPDATE)

A Mozilla spokesman told CNN that OkCupid never reached out to Mozilla to “let us know of their intentions, nor to confirm facts.” UPDATE: Eich has stepped down from his post as CEO, according to a blog post from the Mozilla Foundation. The post states:
Mozilla prides itself on being held to a different standard and, this past week, we didn’t live up to it. We know why people are hurt and angry, and they are right: it’s because we haven’t stayed true to ourselves.
