Jeb Bush turns to Twitter, YouTube for first presidential race messages

The GOP hopeful posted his campaign logo on Twitter on Sunday, later posting a campaign video. Reactions to the logo were mixed.

Add Jeb Bush to the list of 2016 presidential hopefuls who made their first volleys via social media and YouTube.

Later in the day, his campaign posted this video to YouTube:

Bush is expected to make a formal announcement in a Monday speech, but he has joined the ranks of other candidates— including Hillary Clinton and Carly Fiorina—who have turned to online communication venues for their first messages as candidates.

Reactions to Bush’s new logo were mixed. Some noted that it looks a whole lot like his logo from his run for Florida governor in 1998:
