JetBlue addresses rude passengers with flight etiquette videos

The airline company’s new marketing campaign taps into travelers’ collective misery over bad airplane behavior.

Anyone who has flown a major airline in the last couple years knows that it’s basically on par with traveling on a city bus: cramped, gross, unfriendly and uncomfortable.

Part of what makes air travel so unbearable is the glaring lack of etiquette among passengers. That’s where JetBlue wants to change things.

A series of short vignette videos address hot-button flight etiquette issues such as the stranger who falls asleep on you and the ordeal of going to the bathroom when you’re sitting in a window seat.
