Kobe Bryant, a ‘least-liked’ athlete, tweets out against gay slurs

The NBA star, who was fined for dropping a gay slur in 2011, seems to have reversed course.

It wasn’t too long ago—April 2011—that Bryant was fined $100,000 by the NBA for hurling a homophobic slur at a referee. But it seems he’s changed his ways, if a recent tweet is any indication.

Responding to a pair of haters late Sunday night, Bryant tweeted:

Just letting you know@PacSmoove @pookeo9 that using “your gay” as a way to put someone down ain’t ok! #notcool delete that out ur vocab
