Krispy Kreme fulfills man’s Robin Hood dream
When Chris Rosati was diagnosed with Lou Gehrig’s disease, he concocted a plan to steal a doughnut truck and give the cargo to kids. Krispy Kreme stepped in with a bus full of the treats.
That’s right, he said steal a truck. It was all part of this fantasy Chris dreamed up: to stake out the Krispy Kreme doughnut factory near where he lives in Durham, N.C., follow one of the drivers on a route and take his truck when the guy’s not looking.
