Local designer fires back at Urban Outfitters
Steve Koerner says she never thought her Tumblr post would spark a boycott, cites the power of social media.
In a blog post, the company called Koerner’s claim baseless, insisting she isn’t the first designer to create the design in question.
On her Tumblr page—the venue where she first fired off the accusation at Urban Outfitters—Koerner said on Tuesday that she never thought her post would create such a stir, including actress Miley Cyrus’s referencing it on Twitter, twice.
