Melissa Leo’s ‘slip’: Most contrived F-bomb ever?
The Best Supporting Actress had to know her foul mouth would be viral fodder on the Web. She should keep her day job.
Leo nabbed the Oscar for Best Supporting Actress for her role in The Fighter, and during her acceptance speech, she said:
“I’m just shaking in my boots here. I am kind of speechless. When I watched Kate [Winslet] two years ago it looked so much f****** easier.”
Backstage, Leo apologized for her language, calling it “inappropriate.”
