Milestone: LATimes.com racks up nearly 200 million page views in March

It was the best month traffic-wise for the newspaper’s website. Find out why so many people visited the site.

The news site recorded 195.2 million page views in March, according to a memo from online editor Jimmy Orr.

It makes sense. There was plenty of news to report, including Elizabeth Taylor’s death, Middle East uprisings, Japan’s earthquake/tsunami, and Charlie Sheen’s whatever that was.
