Mormon Church up in arms over calendar of beefy topless parishioners

“Men on a Mission” is a calendar series that sends up the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints with photographs of hunky former missionaries in poses, characters and settings familiar to the faithful, according to the Los Angeles Times . Chad Hardy, the 23-year-old who produced the calendar photo shoot, was ex-communicated from the church and barred from receiving a degree from Brigham Young University. He has since hired an attorney and created a Web site to fight back.
