Multiple problems for Match.com regarding alleged sex assault
A woman has filed a civil lawsuit, asserting she was attacked by a man she met through the popular dating website.
The massive dating site has said it will start screening its users against the national sex offender registry after a woman, who claims she was attacked by a man she met on the service, filed a civil lawsuit against the company.
On Tuesday morning, the lawsuit was fodder for the Today show as plaintiff Carole Markin (sans attorney) joined Meredith Viera.
Match.com has a sort of date-at-your-own-risk disclaimer, but Markin wants the site to go further to protect its users.
