NBA team’s PR director laid off
Pete Sousa, public relations manager for the Philadelphia 76ers, was laid off Wednesday, the result of an internal structuring by the NBA team’s parent company Comcast-Spectacor that cost 11 people their jobs. The company insisted the layoffs were not due to the economy, but instead redundancies at the organization of 600 people.
