New iPhone app tracks and shares business jargon
Now you can share all that horrible corporate-speak with people across the nation.
Well, throw away those bingo boards, because there’s now an app for that.
Hilton Garden Inn has created a version of the game with the new iPhone app, BizWords. (You can download it for free here.) The app was launched “to help business travelers decode and navigate the business speak that has become so common in the workplace,” according to a press release.
It tracks, defines, and ranks buzzwords that users of the app share. For instance, one of the trending words (as of late Monday afternoon) is “Net-Net.” Ever heard this one? It’s an accounting term that refers to “value based solely on current assets.” Who knew?
