New program aims to employ 30K disabled people at agencies
‘What could be more creative than being different?’ That’s the tagline to this inspired effort, and while the idea might sound crazy, isn’t that what creativity is all about?
It’s an imaginative subculture in which highly inventive, and often bizarre, people find inspiration among the everyday things that exist in virtually any office—desks, cubicles, office supplies, accountants. A place where the attire is usually casual and daydreaming is actively encouraged.
Well, what started out as a dream 15 years ago for David Nobay, creative chairman for the ad firm Droga5 in Sydney, Australia, has now taken on a “creative spirit” of its own. And it has the agency atmosphere to thank for it.
