New study says your office space is shrinking

But the same study says your boss’s office is probably growing. Is it time for a promotion?

According to the International Facility Management Association (because there’s an organization for everything), the average cubicle in 1994 totaled 90 square feet. Today, it’s down to 75.

The downward trend has even claimed the space of some upper-management offices — albeit the ones who work at more modern companies — whose offices have shrunk to 96 square feet from 115 feet, reports Yahoo News.
