New USPS campaign: Start mailing stuff—it’s safer!

The U.S. Postal Service has launched a campaign encouraging people to mail stuff, but the organization insists it’s not made up of Luddites.

Blame email. Blame FedEx and DHS. Blame the dogs that torment those poor letter carriers. But whatever you do, don’t stop mailing stuff.

In an attempt to presumably remind the public that it still exists, the USPS is launching a TV ad campaign on top of the “If It Fits, It Ships” series.

The new ad, titled “Hacked,” touts the inherent safety of having a complete stranger come to your house every day and drop off personal information.
