NFL emojis come to Twitter

Football fans who turn to the social platform to celebrate victories and commiserate losses with others now have symbols that accompany team hashtags.

Perhaps not, but in case you’re worried that the emoji fad is over, the NFL is now jumping on the bandwagon by teaming up with Twitter to offer unique emojis for every team. The announcement comes months after the news that the social platform is streaming certain Thursday-night games during the 2016-2017 season.

All one has to do is tweet using one of the following hastags and the corresponding emoji will appear:

The @NFL and @Twitter release new emojis for all 32 teams. @TwitterSports#RiseUp #DawgPound #FinsUp #FlyEaglesFly pic.twitter.com/LCKgogtfwc
