NY Times duped by fake news story
Ever read an article and think: ‘That belongs in The Onion’? Unfortunately, this didn’t occur to Times editors—until it was too late.
One cover featured President Obama. Kind of odd for this sort of magazine, don’t you think?
Turns out it was the work of The Onion. On Sunday, the Times published a correction at the end of the story that said:
