Offended! 6 racist, sexist, and downright ridiculous political ads
A political commercial in California has been deemed the ‘most racist ad ever.’ We look back at even more offensive political ads and see history repeating itself.
OK, maybe it’s not the question on your tongue, but the ad is burning up news sites this week, with a host of them suggesting that filmmaker Ladd Ehlinger Jr.’s ad targeting congressional candidate Janice Hahn is possibly a new low for political ads.

That video is so tasteless it manages to give political ads a bad name—many of which didn’t need help in the first place.
Here are a few other ads that raised eyebrows for their offensive nature:
‘Send a mensch to Congress.’
Ehlinger is actually a multiple offender when it comes to tasteless, stupid, or downright ridiculous ads. Take this one from long-shot congressional candidate Dan Adler:
Equally bizarre were Adler’s “He gets s**t done” commercials.
