I’ve been avoiding Google+ like it’s my job. And it’s becoming a problem, since writing about Google+ and other social media sites is my job.
When Google+ first launched, I received several invites to join.
Delete, delete, delete. I said to myself: This too shall pass.
But Google+ isn’t passing. It’s growing. Now, more than 25 million people are using it. PR Daily, Ragan.com and this website are filled with stories about Google+ every day.
We’re even doing a webinar with Shel Holtz about it in October.
So, in the spirit of journalism (and for the sake of my employment status at Ragan), I decided to see what the fuss was all about—at least for five days.
