One-third of newsroom out at New York Observer

Just days after changing editors, the New York Observer axed a large number of employees, the New York Times has reported. The exact number is not known; however, an anonymous source said at least 10 of the 30 people in the newsroom were laid off. The lay off took place last Friday.
