Dewey defeated Truman again Monday night, when an eager Web editor at the Indianapolis Star published a banner headline on the paper’s Web site declaring, “Storybook Stunner … Butler is national champion.” However, Duke beat Butler. The paper changed the page quickly, and the whole thing may have gone unnoticed had a reader not seen the gaffe, captured a screen shot, and sent it to sports gossip blog, Deadspin .
