Oops! Scrabble not really allowing proper nouns
Word spread fast Tuesday that Scrabble had changed its rules and would begin allowing players to use proper nouns. Purists were horrified; the nation mourned; dogs and cats shacked up with one another … and then we learned it was false, and the world was right again. We apologize for propagating this terrible myth.
