PR firm invites reporter to event using a cake—with her picture on it
And it worked! The Fox News reporter said it was ‘the best invitation’ she’s ever received.
Goldman & McCormick Public Relations invited Fox News’s Courtney Friel to its sixth annual Funniest Reporter Show in New York using a cake—with her picture on it. (Gee, Rupert only got a pie—and a fake one, at that.)
Friel accepted the invitation and posted a photo of the cake to her Facebook profile. In the caption to the photo, Friel writes, “this is the best invitation I’ve ever gotten!”
