PR rep accidentally sends list of celebs declining designer’s Fashion Week invite

An email that was supposed to include a tip sheet for the Lela Rose show actually contained an internal spreadsheet attached that named names.

Those sounds you heard over the weekend may have been the screams of dozens of celebrity publicists, angry about an errant email attachment.

A PR rep for fashion designer Lela Rose intended to send an email to the press with a tip sheet for the brand’s Fashion Week show, but instead attached a Microsoft Excel spreadsheet listing the names of all the celebrities who will be attending the show, as well as those who were invited, but declined.

The Huffington Post reports that most of the celebrities whose names were listed on the “declined” list, including Olivia Munn, Zoe Saldana, Rachel Bilson, and Mandy Moore, came with excuses.

Many of them were filming or had other work conflicts. A few names, however, didn’t have any explanations attached.

Excuses or not, someone at Lela Rose probably fielded some angry phone calls over the weekend.

Double-check those attachments, everybody.
