Publicis reports boost in organic growth

First-quarter earnings have been kind to two of the world’s largest communication firms, as Paris-based Publicis joins Omnicom in reporting solid first-quarter earnings.

Publicis reported a 6.5 percent increase in organic growth—up from 3.1 percent a year ago. The company’s revenue for the first quarter increased to €1.29 billion (about $1.87 billion) from the €1.16 reported last year. That amounts to an increase of 10.7 percent.
