Publicis reports first-quarter growth
The French company Publicis Groupe, which owns the PR holding company MS&L Group, reported a 3.1 percent increase in first-quarter organic revenue. The earnings report carried good news for the PR industry. “The holding company’s Specialized Agencies and Marketing Services (SAMS) group, which includes PR and digital holdings, accounted for 47 percent of revenue, up from 41 percent of revenue” in the first quarter of 2009, according to PRNewser .
