Michael A. Cousin

Michael A. Cousin is a communications specialist in Internal Communications at Idaho National Laboratory. He serves as the
communications liaison to the Information Technology and Safeguards and Security directorates, partnering with program leaders to plan and deliver clear, timely messaging that supports enterprise change and technology adoption. Over the past year, he helped advance the lab’s rollout of artificial intelligence tools through multi-channel outreach and employee enablement, emphasizing responsible use. Before joining Idaho National Laboratory, Cousin spent nearly 20 years in advertising and marketing across agency and in-house roles, progressing from copywriting and account management into leadership. He holds a bachelor’s degree in communication from Brigham Young University-Idaho and an MBA from Western Governors University. Cousin focuses on practical, audience-centered communication that connects strategy to everyday work and supports technology adoption across diverse teams
