Alysse Bryson, Founder + CEO of The Sober Curator and VP of Community Development at WORKP2P, is a strong woman in recovery, an innovative media maven, content creator, marketing guru, and gal about town. With 18 years of consistent sobriety, this sober gal has a humorous outlook on life and a fierce determination to succeed. The back of Alysse’s baseball card highlights 25 years of traditional media, with nearly a decade running Seattle Met magazine and six years at KING 5 NBC TV Station. She’s thrown 100s of parties in Seattle, rubbing elbows with local celebs and raising awareness for countless nonprofits. Stop her before she volunteers again! Alysse currently serves on the following nonprofit boards: Recovery Café Network, King County Recovery Coalition, Break Free Foundation, and Ninety and Ninety Pictures. She battled emergency heart surgery at ten years sober (age 40) and beat cancer in 2018 (age 43).
