Brian Henry

Brian is Senior Vice President and Chief Communications Officer at CVS Health, leading the team that tells the story about how we are becoming America’s most trusted healthcare company.

Prior to joining CVS Health in October 2023, Brian held senior communications leadership roles over a 25-year period at companies including 3M, Cigna, Express Scripts, Paragon Biosciences, Medtronic, and Bristol-Myers Squibb. Earlier in his career, Brian led media relations at the American Heart Association and also worked at Porter/Novelli, a public relations agency. Brian started his career as a reporter at two newspapers near his hometown in Southern Illinois.

Brian earned his Bachelor of Science degree in Mass Communications at Southern Illinois University Edwardsville, and his Master of Business Administration degree from the University of Chicago Booth School of Business. He is the immediate past president and a current member of the Board of Directors of Share Pregnancy and Infant Loss, Inc., and a member of the Southern Illinois University Edwardsville Foundation board.
