Brooke Adams

Brooke Adams is the executive communications manager at the University of Utah, where she works directly with University President Ruth Watkins and other senior leaders on a variety of subjects and in various formats, including speeches, talking points, opinion articles, letters, PowerPoint and other communications. She also manages social media accounts for the president as well as the U Rising podcast. Brooke also plays a role in managing crisis communication for the university. She previously served as a communications specialist and liaison for university entities that included various campus entities and the colleges of Social and Behavior Science, Transformation, Social Work, Education, Law, etc. Brooke previously served as the public information officer for the Utah Department of Corrections. Before that, she worked as a reporter and editor at The Salt Lake Tribune, Deseret News, The Salt Lake Observer and the Utah County Journal and wrote for various other publications.
