Dawn Cole

Dawn Cole is group manager of CEO communications at Whataburger, where she has spent seven years in roles spanning creative services, employee engagement, internal communications and executive messaging for a 17-state workforce across more than 1,200 restaurants. She led the team that transformed Whataburger’s employee communications from a weekly PDF into WhataLife, a multimedia app with more than 50 channels customized by role and location. Cole brings a passion for storytelling and editorial judgment honed in a 17-year television news career spanning reporting, investigative and special projects, and executive producing.
